Ingredients
- 2 Cups Raisins
- 1/2 Tsp Clover or any kind of spice
- 1 Cups brown sugar
- 1/2 Tsp Nutmeg
- 1/2 Cup shortening
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Cinnanon
- 1 Cup boiling water
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1 Tsp baking soda
- 1 Tsp vanilla
- add Peeled Fruit, Chopped Nuts, Maraschino Cherries these ingredients are optional

Bring this recipe to a boil and simmer for six minutes, or until the raisins have doubled in size. Then remove your sauce pan from the heat.
Place the mixture in to a cake pan and turn your oven on at 300 F for one hour.
